An Open Letter from true Americans to the people of Ukraine and every free nation under threat from dictators
✊🏽 "Trump Sides With Tyrants—But Millions of Americans Stand With You!"
A note before we begin…
My subscribers span all 50 U.S. states and over 70 countries, including Ukraine, Russia, and many of the nations referenced in this article. While most readers are in the U.S., I know some of you are living under direct threat. If you are reading this from Ukraine, Europe, or anywhere resisting dictatorship, know this: You are not alone. You have allies in America. We see your struggle, we stand with you, and we will not stop fighting for a world where democracy prevails over tyranny.
Part 1
To the Brave People of Ukraine
To the people of Ukraine—those who have lost their homes, their families, their future, but never their will to fight—know this: You are not forgotten.
You have endured more than any people should ever be asked to endure. You have fought with every ounce of strength against an invading army that seeks to erase your identity, your sovereignty, your very existence. The world has seen your courage, your resilience, your sacrifices.
And now, the world is failing you.
Because Trump—installed once again in the White House—has openly sided with Putin. He has abandoned you, mocked your struggle, and done everything short of flying to Moscow to personally kneel before his master. He has denigrated President Zelenskyy, calling him a “dictator” and a “beggar” while he cuts off U.S. aid. He has encouraged Putin’s invasion, signaling that Russia has a green light to do whatever it wants, not just in Ukraine, but across Europe.
Why Did Putin Invade Ukraine?
To the people of Ukraine and the nations now staring down the barrel of Russian aggression: I cannot begin to imagine the frustration, the rage, and the heartbreak you must feel.
You have stood against a tyrant, sacrificing everything for the cause of freedom, only to watch America—the supposed leader of the free world—turn its back on you.
You must wonder: Why? How could America—the nation that stormed the beaches of Normandy, that helped tear down the Berlin Wall—now choose a man who kneels before dictators? How did the country that once led the free world become one that spits in the face of its own allies?
Putin’s war against Ukraine is an imperialist war, nothing less. His justification was built on lies.
Putin did not invade to stop NATO expansion; Ukraine was not even close to joining NATO in 2022. He did not invade to protect ethnic Russians or Russian-speaking populations; there was no persecution, no oppression, no justification for war.
Putin invaded because Ukraine’s democracy is a direct threat to his dictatorship. A free, independent Ukraine—prosperous, European, democratic—sets a dangerous precedent for the Russian people. If Ukraine can thrive outside Moscow’s grip, then so can Belarus, Kazakhstan—and worst of all, the Russian people. That is Putin’s greatest fear. He knows that a successful, democratic Ukraine is proof that Russians, too, could rise up and overthrow him.
If Putin succeeds, he will not stop. Moldova will be next. Then Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Poland. Finland. Sweden. He is watching for weakness. And Trump is handing it to him—an open invitation to finish what he started.
Why Does Trump Kneel Before Putin?
The world has watched, horrified and disgusted, as Donald Trump has spent years debasing himself in service to Vladimir Putin. He has never criticized him, never held him accountable, never put American interests above Russian ones.
This isn’t strategy. This isn’t diplomacy. This is submission.
Putin owns Trump. Whether through financial entanglements, kompromat, or simply because Trump admires strongmen and envies their power, the result is the same: Trump has spent his entire political career advancing Putin’s agenda.
He has undermined NATO, spread Kremlin propaganda, and attacked America's own intelligence while defending an assassin in Moscow.
And now, he has cut off Ukraine, handing Putin the biggest victory he has ever received.
Trump is not just a Putin sympathizer. He is an active collaborator. He has done more to advance Putin’s war aims than the Russian military itself. And his followers, too ignorant or too deep in denial to see what’s happening, cheer him on.

The Danger of Trump’s Ignorant Base: An American Apology
To the people of Ukraine, our NATO allies, and every nation betrayed by Trump’s cowardice—we are sorry.
We are sorry that millions of our fellow citizens have surrendered their minds to propaganda, that a once-principled party now kneels before a con man, and that too many of our leaders lack the spine to stop him. We are sorry that the burden of defending democracy has fallen on you while America, once a force for freedom, is paralyzed by cowardice and corruption.
But know this: Real Americans stand with you. We fight this battle at home, and we will not stop until Trump and his enablers are held accountable and America reclaims its place as a true ally to the free world.
The Ugly Truth About Trump’s Base
Trump’s voters are not just misinformed. Many are willfully ignorant. They believe Russian propaganda because it validates their delusions—that Trump is strong, that America should abandon its allies, that democracy doesn’t matter. A steady diet of Fox News, social media disinformation, and Trump’s own ranting has warped them into Putin’s useful idiots.
And Putin knows it. His propaganda machine feeds them the lies they crave, infiltrating right-wing media, manipulating American public opinion, and turning the U.S. against Ukraine. It is a deliberate strategy to weaken the West from within.
And it’s working.
Trump’s followers don’t care.
They don’t care that Ukraine fights for democracy. That America grows weaker. That Putin’s victory risks global war.
They only care about their fantasy of Trump as a “strong” leader—never mind that he is a coward who bows before dictators and sells out his own country.
We are sorry for them. But we will never stop fighting against them.
From True Americans to Ukraine: You Are Not Alone
To the soldiers on the front lines, the families huddled in shelters, the medics fighting to save lives, the teachers keeping children learning in war zones—know this:
We see you. We stand with you. And we are fighting our own battle to restore America’s place in the world.
Trump does not speak for America. We do. The real America fights oppression, honors its allies, and defends democracy. That America is still here, and we will not let a coward in the White House define who we are.
Part 2
To the People of Every Other Country Now Under Threat from Dictators
To the people of Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America—Trump has shattered the global order.
The United States was once the counterbalance against authoritarian regimes. That era is over. If Trump has his way, Putin will not be the only dictator who takes what he wants by force. His capitulation to Russia is a roadmap for every tyrant in the world.
A World Unleashed: The Dictators’ Playbook Has Been Activated
The moment Putin was handed Ukraine, China, Iran, North Korea, and every would-be dictator took notice. With Trump back in power, America is no longer an obstacle. The era of unchecked aggression has begun.
China Prepares to Strike
Xi Jinping has been waiting for U.S. weakness. Taiwan, the world’s semiconductor hub, is China’s next target. If it falls, Beijing gains control over AI, military tech, and global communications—dictating terms to the world economy.
Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines will be next. With U.S. leadership collapsed, the Pacific becomes Xi’s playground, his navy expanding unchecked, squeezing American allies just as Putin did to Ukraine.
Iran Unleashed
With Trump disengaged, Iran will escalate its war against Israel, advance its nuclear program, and flood the Middle East with weapons. Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt will rush to match Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
With the U.S. absent, Israel may strike first. The region will ignite.
North Korea Moves In
Kim Jong-un thrives on weakness. The moment he senses it, expect missile tests over Japan, threats against South Korea, and calculated provocations. Trump—too transactional, too cowardly—won’t stop him.
Africa: Russia’s Proxy Takeover Continues
Putin’s Wagner Group is already destabilizing Africa. Russian-backed juntas in Mali, Burkina Faso, and Sudan are expanding their grip, fueling coups and crushing opposition.
And under Trump? The West will do nothing.
Latin America: The Maduro Doctrine in Action
Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro has long eyed Guyana’s oil-rich lands. With Trump enabling dictators, he will move.
The message to Latin America’s strongmen is clear: Take what you want. No one will stop you.
Why Trump’s Betrayal of Democracy is Global Suicide
For decades, the United States was the imperfect but essential force that kept these power-hungry despots in check. Not out of charity, but because stability, alliances, and deterrence kept America safe.
But Trump has shattered that doctrine.
This is a loss for every nation that has relied on the U.S. to keep authoritarianism in check.
The World Is At a Precipice
The world is leaderless, teetering on the edge. What happens next will not be determined by morality, justice, or the empty words of politicians—it will be determined by power.
Putin is watching. Xi is watching. Iran, Kim Jong-un, Maduro, and every aspiring tyrant are watching. And they see exactly what we see—an America that has surrendered to corruption and cowardice.
If we do nothing, history will not speak of "what might have been." It will speak of how democracy died. Of how the world abandoned Ukraine, and then Taiwan, and then itself. Of how America, once a beacon of freedom, crumbled into irrelevance, dragging its allies down with it.
Because one thing is certain: The tyrants have already made their choice. And Trump has sided with them.
But to the people of Ukraine, to the soldiers standing against impossible odds, to the families who have lost everything but refuse to surrender—we see you.
To the nations bracing for what comes next, to those who wonder whether anyone will stand with them when their moment arrives—we hear you.
And to those of us in the free world—this is our test. This is the moment that will define whether democracy survives or falls into darkness.
Trump and his enablers may have abandoned Ukraine, but we have not. They may have turned their backs on democracy, but we will not.
We will fight. We will resist. And we will ensure that Ukraine’s courage was not in vain.
Because the free world does not kneel to tyrants. And we will not start now.
To the people of Ukraine, to our allies, to every nation standing against tyranny—know this: Real Americans stand with you.
Trump does not define us. His cowardice is not our creed. His betrayal is not our will.
The real America—the one that fought fascism, that led the free world, that honored its allies—is still here. And we will not stop fighting until it rises again.
In solidarity and in defiance,
All True Americans

My trump-loving mom has a daughter-in-law from Ukraine and two half-Ukrainian grandsons but yesterday she quadrupled down on her psychosis. She tried to "explain" but all I could do was scream from the gravely depths of my soul. The last thing I remember her saying was "you never listen to me" and I hung up.
We should all stop saying that DT denigrated Zelenskyy. No. He did not. He only lowered himself deeper into the disgusting filthy abyss where he dwells. And of course, in his crassness, he commented that the whole little meeting would make good television. Zelenskyy did not fall for his theatrics, lies, name calling, "you're not grateful enough" etc from the other half jdv either. Those two are hollow vessels with nothing but garbage and filth emanating from their big foul mouths. And of course, as in karma always happens, the hillbilly and his family fled from a ski resort in Vermont because the real people were there to let him know they are watching and don't want him there. And of course, he ran away.
Keep the pressure on.
